A very strange incident took place in our town a couple of weeks ago. One day an elderly lady, who actually lives in the block of flats next to mine, called the police to report there was a teenager spending the night in the staircase. He was trying to hide himself in the attic, which was an unused room at that time, but got caught as the woman was walking up the stairs to find her cat. When the police arrived, it turned out the boy was hiding ten valuable gold gold price per gram in his bag. Unfortunately, it was impossible to establish where he got the gold. His identity could not be revealed, either. The police could not tell whether he had stolen the gold because he refused to say a word. Everybody suspected he was a runaway and that he had probably spent several months in the streets, judging from the way he looked. He was very thin, looked ill and pale, and his clothes we all torn and dirty. He might have stolen the bullion bars from his wealthy parents or he might have broken into a house. Perhaps the bullion bars did not belong to him. Nobody really knew. He was transported to a kids shelter in our city, and as far as I know, he hasn"t spoken a single word since that day. I wonder who the person is and why he decided to stay silent for such a long time.
